how to donate
The Homeless Period Southampton is not a business, nor is it a registered charity. We are simply a volunteer-led charitable project, which means we need your help!
You can donate items to us using one of our collection boxes in Southampton, or online using one of the buttons below.
We are experiencing a huge increase in demand for sanitary products and toiletries, and with physical donations still down due to Covid-19 we’re looking for new ways to raise funds for the project. We have no overheads and 100% of the money donated goes towards items for those in need.
You can now set up a recurring monthly donation though PayPal using the buttons below, or if you’d like to give a different amount please get in touch with us.
£3 a month buys a packet of pads or tampons.
£5 a month should cover one period.
£10 a month helps us support more people.
£20 a month makes us ugly cry with joy.

A Note on Reusables:
We frequently get asked if we have considered reusable sanitary products, like menstrual cups. The answer? Yes! We give donations to organisations that support a variety of vulnerable people, and as such, we want to provide a variety of items based on people’s needs.
